This longest running situation comedy, America watched as this active middle-class American family grew up. The home viewers see is an exact replica of the house the Nelsons owned in real life. Stories revolve primarily around the four Nelsons, with a notable neighbor, Thorny Thornberry, who can be counted on to offer Ozzie ill-timed advice. As the series progressed, and the boys began to date, a succession of friends began to appear. One episode, featured son Ricky singing I’m Walkin (Fats Domino hit).

Star of stage and screen, Dennis O’Keefe made his way to the small screen in this comedy from the 1950’s. O’Keefe portrays a newspaper columnist trying to raise his son on his own, with the help of his housekeeper Sarge. O’Keefe’s character juggles his career, his son and his girlfriend with hilarious consequences in this entertaining series.

When Petrie isn’t dealing with the hilarious aspects of his job, he is equally involved with the misadventures of his wife Laura (Mary Tyler Moore) and son Ritchie (Larry Matthews), as well as their neighbors Jerry and Millie Helper (Jerry Paris and Ann Morgan Guilbert).

You’ll laugh at the misadventures of Kate, Uncle Joe, Billy Jo, Bobby Jo and Betty Jo!
