A Triumph of a Film.” – Ryan McLelland, Ain’t It Cool News

It's been 40 years since E.F. Bloodworth (Kristofferson) abandoned his loving wife and sons for a life on the road. Now at the end of the line, he reappears, forced to reckon with the stale aftermath of his departure. With his ex-wife Julia mentally destroyed and his three sons, Warren (Kilmer), Boyd (Yoakam) and Brady, soured by years of anger, his only solace is a budding relationship with Fleming, the grandson he never knew. But when Fleming meets Raven (Duff), the woman of his dreams, will Bloodworth's presence force history to repeat itself?

Don't Come Knocking
(2006) - R
Sam Shepard, Jessica Lange, Tim Roth, Gabriel Mann, Sarah Polley

A gorgeous road movie…a poetic vision of the American West.” – Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune

Howard Spence was once one of Hollywood's hottest movie stars. Now he's a washed up actor barely making it through the day. So on the set of his latest western film he decides to flee and visit his mother for the first time in 30 years. To his surprise he discovers that he might have a grown up child living in a small town in Montana, where he once had a fling with a local waitress. Things get even more complicated when the film company sends an insurance agent to retrieve him and another woman appears in town with more than a sincere interest in Howard.

Old Gringo
(1989) - R
Jane Fonda, Gregory Peck, Jimmy Smits

Academy Award® Winner Gregory Peck (1962, Best Actor, To Kill A Mockingbird) is Ambrose Bierce, the OLD GRINGO, a retired journalist and adventurer who wanders through the hostile desert seeking some meaning to the last years of his life. Jimmy Smits is Arroyo, the fiery young general, driven by both the Revolution and his desire for Harriet. Set in the spectacle of the Mexican Revolution, their lives become inexplicably drawn together as they face love, death and war in the adventure of a lifetime.

Sunset
(1988) - R
Bruce Willis, James Garner

Director Blake Edwards departed from his customary sex farces to direct an unusual satirical Western comedy-thriller. In 1927, legendary lawman Wyatt Earp (James Garner) comes to Hollywood to serve as an advisor to a film studio making a movie about Earp's life. He meets silent screen cowboy star Tom Mix (Bruce Willis). The two stumble upon a murder that has apparently occurred on the set but is linked to a renowned bordello. The aging cowboy and the young actor set off on a series of time-warp misadventures to try to solve the mystery. Along the way, they encounter the shady Alfie Alperin (Malcom McDowell) and the intriguing Cheryl King (Mariel Hemingway).
